Default Going to the Borgata for the first time.....suggestions/tips?

I usually go to the Tropicana and play poker so this will be my first at the Borgata. I'll be there Friday night and probably be playing the $1/2 NL games.

Is $300 the max for this game?
Any suggestions on where to grab a quick bite?
Any tips on the $1/2 NL game there?
Anything else I should know?

I will be there on the 18/19/20 playing some 1/2 and will hop up to the 5/10NL on Saturday. Anyone know of any "regulars" that I should watch out for at the 5/10?

I was going to sit with 1,500 to start. That respectable for the 5/10NL at the Borgata as it is at Argosy here near Cincinnati?

Since it's the max buy-in, I'd say it's respectable.

Yeah there's a bunch of regulars in the 5/10...they're the
ones that look like they live there, cause I think they do.

One way I've usually ID'd probable regulars is looking for people clocking in with black cards who don't look like wealthy gamblers. That and how they play obviously.

The buyin for the 5/10 is 500-1500, so you're just maxxing in, which is reasonable.

I'll probably be down this weekend and next, skipping the insanity of Mem. Day.

Great! Thanks for the info. I will keep an eye out for the black players cards.

The food court is good but they charge double on comp dollars. Noodles of the World is tasty, and I also like the Metropolitan (casual American food). The buffet is not up to the standards of the better Vegas buffets.
