Default Argosy Casino (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) Lodging

I'm heading up to Argosy this weekend and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations as to where to stay. I stayed at a Days Inn in Erlanger, KY the last time I was there but that was too far. I"m looking for some place closer. The Casino/Hotel itself is sold out this weekend so that's not an option. Thanks.

Cash game poker is probably the best in the cincy area. Limit holdem they'll have a few tables of $3/$6 sometimes with a full kill, and maybe 1 or 2 tables of $5/$10 with full kill. NL they run mostly $1/$3 with 1 or 2 $2/$5 and an occasional $5/$10. They do also get an Omaha game going sometimes (wednesdays and I think some weekends?)

Poker room is a little crowded and usually pretty busy.

They are building the new dock for the new boat but it doesn't look like it's anywhere close to being complete yet. I think it's due to be open sometime in 2008 or even 2009? No clue how that will affect the poker room -- hopefully it will be larger.
