Default 10NL How to play Axs

Alright guys, i'm kind of curious about how to play suited aces...

I've been losing money limping them early and betting late...

I know that its a profitable hand, so I'm just wondering how you guys would play it in and out of position...

OK, OK, here's the thing.

Ax sooted can be played profitably as a FD.

As a TPWK, drop it ion the flop.

You can thank me later.

You're probably fine preflop and playing it too face up on flushdraw boards so you're not getting paid.

Don't limp them from any position. Just throw them away from early/middle positions and raise them from LP. The only time I limp with them if it's with 3 or 4 other limps ahead of my then I'll call from late position hoping to hit a flop. And by hitting a flop I mean 2 pair or FD. If there's an Ace high flop, throw it away to any bet without a FD.

Don't limp them early, fold them. Raise them late. Be very selective about calling raises. If you cold call, cold call because you know, I repeat know, that you can outplay the guy you are calling post flop. Raised pots, 100 big blind stacks and calling don't mix.

In general, don't play anything out of position. Particularly don't play weak suited cards out of position. Definitely don't limp/call with weak suited As (AJ and below) out of position. Pocket pairs are the notable exception to the out of position rule. They make for binary post-flop decisions and are less position sensitive.

How do you guys play the nut flush draw on the flop and turn? Do you bet it if it's checked to you? How strong do you bet it?

i recently did the math that you need like 20:1 implied odds if you want to play for nfd/2pair. I'm only playing hands <ats in the co/bu if there was a raise.

I bet/raise my draws pretty consistently unless there's a compelling reason not to.
