haha okay, apparently since everyone disagrees, I am wrong. However no one has made an honest attempt to explain why.

Sure haha zeebo is great we love it. We also know its not serious doctrine, try a more compelling argument.

Sure out of context a turn bet sucks, like if we just woke up in the middle of the hand with 78s and decided to fire this that would be bad. But thats not what happened, I think that his range is pretty face up here, and I would be suprised if anyone thought otherwise. Against his range, we prob have 12% equity at best on the turn. If we check the turn we get to showdown WAAY to often with a bad hand and lose. On the same note, his hand absolutley does not look strong, he is of course going to have JJ 99 and AT here some portion of the time, which he is never folding, but I certainly think: 3 barreling him off of 22-66/77/88 has a ton of expected value. Essentially the only cards I would check on the river are an 8 and a 7

[/ QUOTE ]

you think that is more compelling than "why are you trying to bluff him off a full house?"

I hate preflop, flop and turn.

Check and pray.

Yeah, I actually think explaining my thought process is more compelling than saying "people dont fold full houses" because thats not the reality. If people actually think that, then they are spending too much time thinking that what people tell them is doctrine, as with zeebos therom, and not thinking about how the game really plays out.
