Why are you double barreling into a calling station?

I think river's okay if villain's aggressive. If he's passive, though, he's snap-calling with anything that doesn't split and he might call anyways so you're basically bluffing at half the pot.

What do you consider a calling station then?

About the hand: I really need more stats/reads here. Your note suggest this isn't the best villain to triple barrel.

But I really hate your turn play. You are being way too aggressive with air for this level. Remember uNL is about valuebetting, not bluffing.

and lol at him folding his river ace. He's got it too damn often man. Just bet flop then giveup.

your read is "calls down with UI overs"

not "floats dry A high boards with air"

besides, when they do Number 2 the line is commonly check/call check bet.

filed under 'terrible spot to 3barrel'.

1. villain looks like a station from your note.
2. dry flop.
3. board changes nothing - he won't put you on a 7 or a 4. those cards help his range more than yours.
4. ..

Triple barrel bluffing at the smaller end of the microlimits is like burning money.

Your note says he calls down with Ace high - in that case he is almost always going to call down with better than Ace high (i.e. any pair)

If the pot is split (as is likely) then you LOSE MONEY because of the rake.

Value bet people like this when you have a hand - imo bluffing should be a tiny part of your game at these stakes, and when you do bluff you need to bluff scare cards - and that turn card is not a scare card.

preflop goot.

flop goot.

check behind turn planning to check behind river as well or fold to a bet.
