Default Right up the ass

First some dude hits a set of nines against my KK calling off 23bbs preflop (100bb stack). Then this:

Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (BB): $200.00
SB: $197.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $6.00</font>, Hero calls $4.00

Flop: ($12) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">SB bets $8.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $26.00</font>, SB calls $18.00

Turn: ($64) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">SB bets $45.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $113.00</font>, SB calls $68.00

River: ($290) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets all-in for $55.00</font>, SB calls all-in for $52.00
Uncalled bet of $3.00 returned to Hero

Pot Size: $394.00 ($0.50 Rake)

SB had 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a full house, Kings full of Fives) and WON (+$196.50)
Hero had 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ([2d 2h] a full house, Twos full of Kings) and LOST (-$197.00)

I guess a good time to quit my session early before I go on monkeytilt.

exact same thing occurred to me yesterday (hand 1). I smiled and said "that's fine.. I'll just masturbate". Everything is fine now.

If that is the worst beat you have ever taken, then you are running hot for life. That is not even bad. try flopping top set and losing all in on the flop to an under pair (runner runner quads).

The beat is bad in how the hand went down, not in terms of absolute odds.
