Strongly played AA with resistance on dry board.

Casino AZ 20/40 game of course.

Probably a standard boring question, but twice in the last two rounds I had been beat by the same bad playing dealer who called a raise preflop with Kd5d and hit flush against my trip aces and AK tptk to the same Kd5d flush...but this hand isn't against her, just trying to describe my possibly tilty image. My opponent on this hand is unimaginative and doesn't get out of line...

Preflop he raises UTG+1, all fold to my SB, and I reraise with AA, BB folds, UTG looks like he wants to cap, but only calls.

Flop comes 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I lead, he raises, I call. Turn comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I check, he bets, I raise, he threebets, and I hate my life and call. River comes 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. What is my plan...I thought I took a very strong line on the turn, and he didn't seem to be worried.

If you don't think your hand is strong enough to cap the turn, then check/call the river. If he had KK/QQ that river won't scare him, but he probably won't raise your bet much.

I would just 3 bet the flop.

If you were willing to call the turn 3 bet, then it looks like you need to call down here. The 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] shouldn't have helped his hand (or yours). The only logical hand you trail is a set of jacks. A straight is somewhat unlikely as you hold two of the aces and even a nut shouldn't pop it UTG with 36. A small set is possible, but again, its somewhat unlikely to get raised by 55 or smaller.

Unless you know for sure that a turn 3 bet beats AA you'll need to grit your teeth and call.

I probably would have 4 bet the turn and called down. As played, I donk/call the river and expect to win.

I expect to see QQ/KK here a lot so I would bet and call if raised.

Either c-raise or if you think he'd raise if you bet, lead and 3-bet. from your description, your facing KK or a little less likely QQ too often here. If he plays too weak (and we all know a few of those who do) to not 3-bet the turn without JJ, then c-call

This soooooo looks like KK. I'd 4-bet the turn and lead the river and 3-bet if raised. If he goes to 4 just call and ask a waitress for a vomit bag.

wtf? I hate these replies. This is a mid limit live game when you get 3 bet on the turn I would be very afraid of JJ. Call down.

I'd be afraid of JJ if there was a reason to be afraid of JJ and just because we are raised on the turn does not mean the raiser has JJ. If he's the typical 20 player he'll be plenty excited w/ his KK, is a horrid hand/situation reader and is playing his own hand. If OP can count on his pf read then villain has KK, QQ here a ton of the time. I def think more bets are in order unless villain is a player who knows what's going on.
