Default NL100: Butchering aces on every street

Still learning cash games and making horrible plays like this every session.... I should have a pretty TAG image but have not been at the table that long.... villain seems standard and has done nothing out of line.

What is the optimal line here... 3bet/fold flop??? Fold turn?? I was planning on folding the river to another large bet but the 4 giving me aces up suckered me into making another horrible call on the end.

Looking back I think my worst play here is on the flop... the river play has to be pretty bad too though.

Just because you (presumably) lost doesn't make your play bad. This guy is showing a lot of aggression, but he can't know what you have. He could have been repopping what he saw as a continuation bet and then paired the queen. Who knows. In any event, with the presence of draws you probably should be more aggressive with the aces.

yeah i dont see what you beat on the river, the turn might even be a fold if he hasn't got out of line (despite being a perfect bluffing card for draws)
