i'm watching the game right now, and they don't look that overpowering to me - actually a little overrated IMO. i think it's going to be a long year for carpenter, as he constantly has to pitch perfect games b/c his offense gives him nothing - kind of like the big unit a few years back with arizona. teams will just walk pujols and force everyone else to have a big game. i'm probably going to fade carp a lot early this year. also, glavine will not look like this all year.

edit: the cards need a new left fielder PRONTO. he has cost them enough in this game and sucks at the plate.
