Default blind battle push?

ITM in a $10 FO on stars still far from the FT, I know I could have pushed preflop but decided not to this time - does anyone push this flop to accumulate chips?

that flop bet makes no sense.

there isnt any draws out there (unless he had some 34 or something, he would have raised pre with an A, and if he didnt he certainly wouldnt overbet..., i just dont believe him here...

there is a distinct possibility that he also has a two, with a better kicker.

A shove might get him to fold middle pairs and K high...

I'd just fold. You are either about a 2-1 favorite or drawing nearly dead. You have basically no redraws to improve on your hand.

And some people do just limp weak aces from the SB. These are the same kinds of people who tend to overbet their trips on boards like this.

Yes but I think I am a 2-1 favorite WAY more often than I am drawing nearly dead and I think he folds almost always unless he has a pair which is really unlikely here.

Agreed - this is the obvious downside to the push

I doubt he folds any pair to my push - maybe a 2 but I doubt it - I just think if I fold out all or almost all non-pair hands then a push would be +EV since his range is something like the bottom 70% and top 1% of any two here
