Do not call 911 for this, this is stupid?
the worst part is you were ready to call animal control, and then called the EMERGENCY number. One time in college, I went to my friends place and I was already a few beverages into the night and I made a run to the kitchen to pick up beers for a myself and a few others, and I saw a opossum in the kitchen drawer. I didn't think twice about it, and I went back into the living room and said "Hey guys, your opossum is messing around in the kitchen" THe looks I recieved made me realize how ridiculously unlikely these guys were to have a pet opossum.

It wasn't that mean looking, and it was a very young one. The weird thing is, they aren't really all that common around here. But it was more cute and cudely, like this guy.

[/ QUOTE ] It's used for emergencies and non-emergencies here as I explained below. Otherwise I certainly wouldn't use it for this. In fact, the officer told me to call 911 again this morning to send animal control out. This creature actually looked kind of cute. It seemed to be sitting up like a teddy bear.
