Borgata $5K Deep Stack - 11/11-11/15

Just got an email about this, structure I think is the same as the Borgata Summer Open ME, 50K in starting chips. The strange thing is 11/11 is Day 4 of the WPT Foxwoods ME, I guess they're trying to do like a WSOP ME/WPT Bellagio Cup overlap thing and get people to stay in the area, but it doesn't make much sense to me.

Day four might actually be their best shot to emulate a Bellagio Cup scenario, since most people will be busted from foxwoods by then and some amount of pros/travelers might be willing to hang around for only an extra 1-2 days but not longer.

It does seem like a really good tournament, structure-wise, but 5-days is too long, unless the prize pool is sick.

Who knows how many people they'll get, since it's never been done before. But, they miraculously managed to get 337 people for this summer's $5K main event, which took place while the WSOP was going on. Generally, if they hold a big event at the Borgata, people will come.
