Default kerry taser main question

A university spokesman said campus police cut the microphone and removed Meyer because he had overstayed his allotted time to question the senator.

so it seems to me he was not being chased or anything, that he was literally grabbed and tackled and tased for taking more time than he should have.

main question: how much time did he have? how much did he go over? and was he ever told he would be arrested/escorted out if he did not stop, or was he just grabbed?

I mean think about it, if you are told you have one minute to ask a a question, and then at 1:15 you are grabbed, do you think that is right?

Please don't start a new thread every time you have a point to make.

You do not have a god given right to run every meeting you attend. The university or the sponsors get to run their meeting.

This guy went out of turn to begin with, so technically he was entitled to 0 seconds to ask his question, and was trampling on the free speech of the guy who was next to speak.

Think about it, the publicity seeking d-bag stole the free speech rights of another student. CENSORSHIP!!, Throw tasered guy into jail for that!!

What is it with you all? He didn't ge tased because he stayed too long, or because of his questions. He got tased because he was asked to leave, he refused, then he physically resisted, struggled, and caused a big disturbance as the officers were trying to remove him from the premesis.

according to one newspaper article it was because he went over his allotted time. not sure from the video that he was told leave now! or be arrested.

According to that article, he was asked to leave and had the mic cut off because he was over his allotted time, not that he was tasered because of it. Read more than the first paragraph and it makes that clear.

Have you watched any of the videos at all? It's not like this guy is standing up there calmly asking a question then out of the clear blue a cop runs up and tases him.

Default Another Taser Post?

Do we really need a separate post for this?
Talk radio has been doing a pretty thorough job covering this story. On the Mark Levin show he questioned a student who witnessed the entire episode and he was sympathetic to the guy who got tasered.

Evidently the Q&A was over and this guy rushed the microphone desparate to ask his questions (it is not everyday you can your senator a question).

On the other hand, Fox news has a story that this guy is a notorius prankster and the entire thing MAY have been a joke..
