If closing the action it is worth a peel.

Cards:

Watch your outs (backdoors, especially.) They may give you the odds to continue.

I had a 2X BD hand that I had raised PF but wiffed the flop. While it was the flush that came in as a runner-runner, it was the fact the hand was 2X BD'ed that allowed me to stay in the hand.

Any other generalizations?
