NL25 QJ v loose-passive
Just moved back up to 25NL. Almost everyone plays TAG from my stats except the short stacks.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $36.45 hero: $29 SB: $24.25 BB: $12.90 Pre-flop: (4 players) hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, hero raises to $0.85, SB folds, BB calls. Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($1.8, 2 players) BB checks, hero bets $1, BB calls. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($3.8, 2 players) BB bets $3.8, hero calls. River: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($11.4, 2 players) BB checks. Hero..? No reads really. Loose-passive, short stack. Do we value bet, check behind? Any mistakes anywhere in this hand? |

Re: NL25 QJ v loose-passive
Flush got there, plus a paired board with an Ace on it, and villain showed strength on turn... Only a better hand is calling you so an obvious check behind IMO

Re: NL25 QJ v loose-passive
I don't know if only a better hand calls, but there aren't many worse hands that can call. So you should check.

Re: NL25 QJ v loose-passive
i would probably call the turn too, because his line doesn't make much sense. i know i have a Q though, so i'll look him up, once anyway.

Re: NL25 QJ v loose-passive
strange line by villain here
check behind and make a note about his hand and how he played it |
