it seems to me that mikey might be running alittle low on cash these days!! he recently started playing 25/50 pl omaha instead of 1000/2000 200/400 and he also would never pass up a chance playing with gus but lately he hasnt been playing with gus and the boys instead playing the lower staked games!! i like mikey but this pattern seems pretty obvious that the cash flow must be running low!!!! I would be surprised if the typical poster on this board is concerned about Mike's (or any other famous pro) for the reason you suggest. If Mike is in the game that a player has selected, then they can take the money if they are good enough. I would suggest that the real reason is some type of voyuer/tabloid interest. It makes people feel better about themselves if others have failed.
