Default San Francisco @ Colorado 4/17

Play: SanFrancisco +100 (5dimes)

SF (4-7) has won 3 of their last 4. Colorado (5-8) has lost 5 of their last 6. Two clubs possibly going in opposite directions.

SF sends Matt Cain out. He has two starts, both against SD and Chris Young. Combined line: 13 Inn 4ER 6H 10K 8G/21F. The second game was an 0-1 loss. Cain is pitching above average. The only danger in betting Cain here is the high Flyball ratio, which isn't great in Coors, but fortunately the opposing pitcher, Hirsh, is just as bad.

Colorado sends Hirsh out. Two starts: 11 2/3Inn 4ER 12H 11K 9G/15F.

I'd take Cain over Hirsh on any field. And you get Cain at even money. I think SF has a greater than 50% chance of winning with Cain, so there is some value here.

Good luck.

Yeah, got this last night at +103 and I think it's a good bet even down to -105. Zito is a good pitcher and Cain is on the same level and the result came up 8-0 last night. Taking Cain here is a good play.

It is a crappy day here in Denver, foggy and some intermittant rain with more or less constant mist. It reminds me of Chicago.

With the weather like it is, I don't know if they will get the game in. I would be more inclined to take the under 10. If they get the game in, it will be in bad conditions.

wow, that was nice. Went to bed after 7 innings with a 3-0 lead and Cain looking untouchable. I get up to find the bullpen gave up 5 in the 8th. Been that kind of year so far.

Ya, no more betting on other peoples tips for me. I took the Giants and then that guys hot basketball pick of the over in the raptor game. I hit all my hockey plays and still lost $30 thanks to my love for peoples posts on this site. Nothings for sure I guess.
