Default Very general question 4flush river question.

You bet 3/4 pot with the 2nd nut one card flush oop on the river (non-paired board) after the turn goes check/check.

A 46/15 who you have no real read on minraises.

Is this usually a call, usually a fold, or somewhere inbetween?

I think it depends on the nature of the board. If you have the K high flush and the Q and J of the suit are not on the board, then I think a call is better.

While if you have the K and the Q J of that suit are on board its less likely he has a worse flush that he thinks is good.

PS. not sure if that made any sense.

PPS. I usually probably just call anyways.

For me a lot depends on how big the pot is on the river and so how big the minraise is.

How good I feel about it may depend on these and other things but I call anyway against a player like that.

NL1000. 100bb stacks. Second hand at the table. No notes on CO, probably a 45/15ish with a medium aggression level (not passive not overly aggressive).

CO open limps.
I raise to 45 in the SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB folds, CO calls.

Flop ($100): 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet $80, CO calls.

Turn ($260): 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, CO checks

River ($260): Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet $200, CO raises to $400

860:200

If you fold, do you call on a J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], or 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] river? Does anyone check the river here?

If you have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in position here, what do you raise to on the river?
