Going to Las Vegas on Fri Nov 2

We are driving from the Vancouver Seatle area Friday about 5 pm. We may have room for one or 2 people if they want a ride. We will stay for 4 nights. We are going to drive straight in about 17 hours. Cheap and easy way to get to vegas. Let me know if anyone is going that way or if you will be in vegas then. Ace

I can't imagine why in the world you guys are so willing to spend a day and a half driving vs. catching a plane flight. I'd rather stay at a lesser quality hotel and save money that way. Sheesh, you gain an entire day by flying. I'd hang myself driving that long.

A few years ago I was playing at The Orleans in March when I saw a couple young fellows from back home. Said "hello" and chatted a bit and found out they'd kinda half-emptied their frat, rented a giant van, and like 12 of them had driven to Vegas. Guy I was talking to said he had already booked a plane reservation to go back home--he was NOT going to spend 20 more hours in a van with those 11 other guys. What had seemed like it would be great fun turned out to be otherwise.

Are you sure you want to be advertising for a total stranger to ride with you... and for 17 hours no less? You might want to rethink that.

I just had a horrid thought about the stranger having beans for lunch just before the trip...
