[ QUOTE ]
excuse my ignorance, but how did this guy "stumble" upon account 363?

[/ QUOTE ]
A programmer working on a major rewrite of the software will necessarily have access to many aspects of the system. #363 may have even been used to test the new software.

[ QUOTE ]
and how does he just log into the 363 account, open up a table and see all cards? how does that work exactly?

[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly as you describe. Log in and open up a table just like you would do at your favorite site. The difference is this user has been granted special permission by the software to see all the hole cards.

Yet still eerily plausible. Nice work Dan.

Thanks also to all the 2'ers and TheMarcoKidd/CrazyWacko or w/e.

Dan's post is a good one and extremely plausible to put all the pieces together.

The problem is we cannot really prove anything and this won't go to court so it's little more than a bump in the road for Absolute.

ok, pretty sure i get it now.

but, how did this guy just have access to the account? do all accounts have some kind of master passwords or something?
i understand now how he might have figured out the account existed, but i'm not seeing how there's any feasible way he could get into the account and do all this stuff without SOMEBODY at absolute realizing what was going on.

frankly, i think that it may have began how you speculate, but ended w/ multiple people within the organization having some level of knowledge as to what was going on.

the fact that bw blacklisted them, and people are working to spread the word through other media outlets i.e. bluff/blogs and what not will prove to be more than a "bump in the road" for absolute

Great post Dan. It's stories like these that we should get out to the media. Who cares if it's speculative, it should get the ball rolling. A lot of posters have put in some awesome work to show with 100% certainty that there was cheating going on at Absolute Poker and that they are hiding a lot of information. It's now up to them to come clean.
