yes i think this is possible, if u have a great stamina, and are totally tilt-free, off course u need to be a decent winner too (at least 1 BI every 1000 hands; 5ptbb/100)


Lets say u need $8500 to move up (7.5BI-----> 7500 hands)
$15k to move u too 600nl (+/- 16 BI) -----> 16000 hands)
$30k " " " " 1000nl (15 BI ------> 15000 hands)
$60k " " " " 2000nl (15 BI ------> 15000 hands)

than u have to grind out $40k more @ the 2000nl (20 BI------> 20k hands

so u need approx. <font color="black"> </font> 75k hands <font color="black"> </font> to do this.

say u can do 500 hands p. hour (6 tabling, and really focusing on the game). thats 150 hour

2.5 hours a day!!!!

I would recommend supplementing a little with SNG's. Play some 109's if you think you can be 40% ITM. Play one of the big MTT's each Sunday. I wouldn't recommend going over 5-tables. Play solid, concentrate, profit. It's doable.

I think this is an interesting question, and I feel that with 1000 dollars I could be playing 50/100 NL in 4 weeks with 200K. This would be very ambitous and require alot of poker everyday (probably 3K+ hands a day). But I still think it could be done. ( I don't knwo if I want to try to prove it tho )

I remember reading that well post and being amazed by how ambitious his plan is.
