Nl400: Pleeease some advice....2pair on turn (200bb deep)
villain is solid regular. 33/19/2.3 (4- max tables)
I played a lot vs him and he nearly never makes big bluffs. He dont know who i am cause i play on another acount but he views me as solid too. Poker Room skin No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 4 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $771.45 Button: $93.90 SB: $744.50 BB: $86.00 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero raises to $15, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($45, 3 players) SB checks, BB bets $30, Hero calls, SB raises to $60, BB calls, Hero calls. Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($225, 3 players) SB bets $122, BB calls all-in $11, Hero calls. River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($480, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $258, Sidepot 1: $222) SB bets $300, Hero ? I have no idea what his flop-minraise means exept that he is not on a draw. I cant see him bluffing 300 on the river to win a 100$ sidepot. I felt very lost in this hand cause i can only put him on a set. So what to do? call, raise or fold ? |

Yeah this is tough, I can't really put him on a hand that you beat, but in the heat of battle I can honestly say I'd probably never lay this down, I'd call

Flop check minraine is usually the sign of a set. When you call (forget BB) and he leads turn you can fold here if he is never making a move.

Given his stats I find it very hard to fold here. I call.

His range is pretty narrow and he's building a big side pot. He's not bluffing then what do you beat? AA played really tricky? Ya, I don't think he's got that either. |

Raise turn for value. Call river although value-shoving is tempting.

otis nixon is right on. the shortstacker changes things a lot. id stack off heads up, but in this spot villain has KJ at worst. i definitely fold on the river.

Re: Nl400: Pleeease some advice....2pair on turn (200bb deep)
ya villains stats are standard for 4-max. He is actually tighter than most players.
Raising the turn isnīt a good idea imo cause either iam way ahead or way behind. In position i can make a decision on the river. |
