Event #28 Final Table--How much is it worth to pimp Pokerstars gear?

I have a buddy at Final Table today, was approached by broker to "get him a deal". Questions:

1) What can be expected to get at an ESPN final table like this?
2) Is a broker worthwhile or better to go direct?
