Default opening hands from SB for short hand newbie

Hi I have found various sites indicating probable opening hands from positions other than the blinds but need some help on blinds.
Here is an example from earlier 6 max micro limit
UTG,MP,CO all fold
Button limps in
I am SB with K6 offsuit.
What do I do?
Thanks for any help or directions to listings

If BB and Button are both terrible, loose and passive I might call, else I fold.

I'm usually folding this one, it's to likely that if your getting action on a K-high board, you are up against a better K.

With a Loose Passive SB and BB in this situation, both of whom play terribly post-flop, I'll usually call K8o and K9o. I'll also call a suited K. Even that might be too loose.

I'm usually raising K9s+ and KTo+

Assuming 1/2 blind structure, with button limper I'm raising 66+/A7o/A5s/KTo/K9s/QTo/Q9s/JTs and completing 22+/A4s/Kxs/Q7s/J7s/J9o/T7s/T9o/98s/87s and folding the rest, though this may change to more completes and less raises based on the 'foldiness' of BB

You don't complete K9o?

I don't like to complete with HU-hands from SB. If I decide to play Kx from SB I raise to get BB out unless BB is very loose. K6o is crap but if your opponent is openlimping from BTN he is an idiot and if he's also passive a raise could set you up to steal this pot.

In a 1/2 blind structure you are completing way too few hands! I complete any2 suited that I dont raise.

It's always difficult to know when to limp.

It's very player dependant and you have to consider the equity of your hand vs your opponents possible holdings and if you can get the BB out.

Surely playing any 2 suited is going to be slight mistake. I'm prehaps cutting out 23s 34s 72s-74s and other tiny garbage all the offsuit garbage is out as well up with t5o and 96o being a minimum guideline.

Why? Do you have any substantial evidence? That claim is as usefull as me saying: "surely capping AA is going to be a slight mistake".

Dont give definete preflop advice in marginal spots unless you have good evidence that the advice is good.

BTW Sklansky thinks its +EV

I've been mucking schlock like T5s or J3s too. Mainly because I "felt" they weren't good enough. I don't disbelieve you Oink, but is there something mathmatical for this reasoning? I just figured that a hand like t5s wouldn't be good enough to complete with getting 5 to 1 with a chance to get raised. If it's less than a 1/2 structure like a 1/3 or 2/5 do these get mucked?
