Re: The showstopper? (XPS M2010)
I just got a speced out MacBook Pro and im regretting not going the route of the Sager or even DELL. So many people have told me how great OSX is and so far im finding it's not fun going from a very technical knowledge of Windows to having to relearn a system that is designed to limit what a user can change.
Any ways I do have XP boot camped on it now (although a huge pain in the ass cause I had an SP1 CD and had to slipstream it) The looks + features are simply not worth the cost imo. The Sager does have a Dual Link DVI port I believe (not 100%) ps Why are there not two mouse buttons? It just makes no logical sense. Also Macs do lockup just like any PC (spinning wheel of death) happened to me first day receiving it. |

Re: The showstopper? (XPS M2010)
As was said by someone else here, if you really must have OSX and all, you can put it on PCs (I haven't done it, but people have said such to me and I have read about the process). No need to go the more expensive route, unless of course you simply must have the illuminated keyboard.

Re: The showstopper? (XPS M2010)
DVI >>>>>>>>>> VGA , IMHO
I have an older Sager and they are really good. You do have to be a bit computer savvy though, it's not like an Apple that will hold your hand through driver setup and everything, it's more like a desktop. Also I would get the smaller 7200 RPM hard drive rather than a big 5400 one. |
