NL 1k Bluf SB vs BB
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $1,470.54 Hero (BB): $1,358.50 UTG: $244.25 CO: $1,030.00 BTN: $1,160.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players) 3 folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $30.00</font>, Hero calls $20.00 Flop: ($60) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">SB bets $58.00</font>, Hero calls $58.00 Turn: ($176) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">SB bets $82.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $222.00</font>, SB calls $140.00 River: ($620) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $400.00</font> Villain is 35/27 on only 125 Hands. My image is solid 23/17, no special history vs him in the few hands we played and no misplays vs other players at the table. Villain seems he's knowing what he's doing. I call the flop and plan to float the turn. But then he bets and i thought it is likely he plays bet/fold with an ace here, so i raise, and have to fire the river, after he calls the turn. How do you like it? |

Re: NL 1k Bluf SB vs BB
I like it just fine although I'd make the turn raise around $260. In fact, I think a turn raise is a little transparent in terms of repping the flush. Since you've got deep stacks, I'd do exactly what I'd do if I did hold the flush, I'd call the turn and raise or bet the river 3/4 pot.
A lot of players anticipate the bluff raise as soon as the flush card falls. I think the villain may be doing just the same..."okay, I'll call your raise and see if you've put your money where your mouth is on the river". But, you made a real solid river bet. I like your line fine. |

i dont see him folding to a river bet if he calls the turn raise.
