this is a really strange line. Looks like he was going for a c/c, c/r on the flop and turn, but usually these people will lead out the river and try to make up for the missed opportunity.

however, our hand isn't very strong. I might even check behind on this river. fold as played

Preflop and flop look fine. TAG/LAG calls the flop, we're looking at sets and draws now. Turn you hit your Ace and then you check?? That should be a bet-fold. Charge him for the draws, fold if raised because it's a set.

bet flop
bet turn
if he's still there (and just called), check behind on river.

I sometimes check behind on the turn for pot control and to induce a bluff on the river, other times i double barrel with bluffs as well as with made hands. I like this inconsistency cause its kinda hard to put me on a hand.

I could not think auf a very strong hand that he would check/call the flop against two opponents and check turn and checkraise the river. So i called his checkraise and won against his 9s8s.

As this is not a call i would usually make i liked to hear your opinions.
