Default How Many Mistakes?

Live 8/16...wasnt involved in the hand but friend played it, how would you have played it...

Cap at 5 bets...5 ways, with friend in SB with QQ (he showed after I folded)

FLOP K Q 5 rainbow

......now what would you do?

Friend - Check raises the flop after capper bet out in CO, 1 caller, then CO 3 bets, friend calls and MP2 calls

Turn - meaningless rag

What do you do?

Friend - check/calls the turn, MP2 folds

River - another meaningless rag no draws hit

What do you do here?
Friend - Check calls the river

Results - CO shows AA, Friend Shows QQ for set Qs...pot $300ish

What the [censored] was he thinking??? besides afraid of KK??

...I told him my line would be to check/call or bet out the flop, then look to check/raise the turn, and lead the river...I figured at worst he cost himself 3+bets...

...Am I right/wrong

in order to analyze we are gonna need some specifics about the preflop action...

I don't know, 2nd set on a board where it looks like that = 2nd nuts, no matter what the pf action was it's going to take a ton of action to get me to slow down.

GG, your friend made a lot of mistakes, the biggest of which was probably sitting down in a poker game when he plays that weak tight.

d10, yes, obviously hero should be putting in a ton of bets in this hand...but thats about all the analysis we can provide with the info given...should we go for a c/r, bet/3bet, who put in the last action preflop blah blah all makes the hand easier to analyze...

I don't mind the flop play, but that should have been to set up a turn checkraise. If 3-bet on the turn, THEN he can be afraid of KK. So I think he missed bets on the turn.

Bet flop and 3bet, don't slowdown until CO has put in like 4 raises on flop and turn.

yuck.

either bet or cr the flop. you want lots of bets to go in here as you have a monster and ppl will call lots of bets on the flop and wont give you as much credit so ou still can get raises in on the big streets.

otherwise your post sucks. theres 5 ppl in. who are they, where are they, and what did they do preflop? sames on the flop, and same on the turn.

bet and raise more. only slow down if he continues to go nuts on the turn.
