Re: $2/4 Stud/8 (HORSE) Hand for Comment
[ QUOTE ]
Seat 3 probably should have raised with trip queens on 6th, but not many people have the guts to do this [/ QUOTE ] This was the first thing I thought after the hand. However at the time on 6th I suddenly realized it was hi-lo not hi and panicked causing me to just call down. |

I was in this game too.
As for the hand, I think you spewed on all streets. He has a Q down like always here. I don't like 3rd or 4th either because its 2 low hands against 1 high hand thats a near lock. You only have 4 outs to scoop and 8 to chop. You can't really count on an opponent reading a non-cap as no wheel at this level either. |

omfg!
is this a spew by our beloved andy?! anyways, i think you could get away w/ the 5th raise, the 6th bet is def a spew.. basically you're screwed in this hand b/c your high is no good and your low bricked. the pot is pretty big so i guess 5th could be sacrificed but i think if you dont raise 5th you're gonna get bet into on 6th so its a toss up. |

Re: $2/4 Stud/8 (HORSE) Hand for Comment
Honestly, as Bremen says, there are zero hands of his/anybody else's you beat on sixth, because he has trip queens and if he hadn't been napping you are getting raised 100%.
Seventh is just spew, I think you can safely check/fold. edit: I guess there's some marginal chance he has KK in the hole and you may as well call one bet, but eh, it doesn't much matter. |

Re: $2/4 Stud/8 (HORSE) Hand for Comment
Is there really value in losing the player with the 7 on fifth?
Almost all of your low outs are going to be good against him. |

Re: $2/4 Stud/8 (HORSE) Hand for Comment
3rd and 4th streets seem good, but I would slow down on 5th street.
Also, I think he's checking the river not because he doesn't have trips, but because he's afraid of the possibility of a straight or full house because of how strongly your played your hand against apparent trips. I would just check behind. |

I would have made a low on 7th, I'm just that good.
