Default Vegas Cash Games

probably going to vegas soon for a weekend

a few questions, random comments are appreciated
all questions are about friday night 10pm to saturday night 7pm, any specific comments on that time would be appreciated

1) what kind of stacks are at the rio 2/5 and 5/10 NL at this time? comments on the game?

2) it looks like the thread says the 15-30 to 30-60 games at the wynn/bellagio are OK - more comments?
are these on the main floor or in the "high brush" area

3) any mixed games of the 10-20 to 20-40 variety going around then? i think i heard there's one
at the wynn, comments?

4) how's the 15-30 to 30-60 action at Caesar's? Venetian?

Apologies in advance for re-asking questions already asked, I'll keep looking through the threads and I'm sure I'll find some more of these answered already.

Rio: I haven't been in there in a while. 2/5 stacks are about $300-800. $5/10 hasn't been spread much when i've been there (hasn't been for many months).

Wynn: mid-limit games vary. Can be good or bad depending on the night, but probably good on Friday night.

Not sure about the mixed games.

Rio's 2/5 is standard. They rarely to ever run 5/10 except curing WSOP. Unless you are staying there, there is NO reason to go there. Their poker room is subpar at best.

Venetian gets 15/30 regularly now, and 40/80 during super peak hours. 5/10 goes there on weekends. the 2/5 has a 1K max, so the stacks are deeper. Mixed game at Venetian is usually 6/12 and goes durng weekends usually.

Mid limits are commonly found at Bellagio and Wynn during most/all hours.

I was in vegas for a week in july. I played 90% of the time in the wynn 15/30, and the game was absolutely wonderful all of the time. some of the best mid limit games I've ever seen actually. I played the 30/60 once and it was a bit short and aggro, not great but beatable. Also the 30 game only ran about 12 hrs/day on the weekdays, and the 15/30 sometimes didnt survive the graveyard shift. but it's a good spot if you like to play short late.

I played one session of 15/30 at bellagio, the game was good but not better than wynn and I had to wait 1.5 hrs for a seat. the room was a zoo, and I'd avoid it unless you want to play higher than 15/30, or you want to play full 15/30 at 5 am.

I also played a session at mirage 20/40, the game there was good too. one thing I liked is that they had two games but no must moves. also, these guys also have the best $25 BJ game n the strip IMO.

I played in a 10/20 mix at the wynn twice during the trip, but it was during WSOP prelims and most of them were young 2+2ers, definitely didnt seem like a regular game.

Wednesday afternoon will be not more then one, honestly. Different at night, but calling first will avoid possible dissapointment.

The mixed game is usually HOSE with crazy pineapple thrown in. Badugi/chinese poker sometimes, but rarely.

Thanks for the comments.

Anyone have anything additional to add about pre-flop action? I've never played above 10-20 in vegas.
For 15-30 to 30-60, from my non-vegas games, pre-flop action tends to be something like just one raise 50-70% of the time, three bet10ish % and capped 5-10ish%. something like that seems like a normal range.
any comments on how these games at particular strip casinos on friday - saturday nights tend to deviate from this?
