I like this line a lot if it doesnt come a heart river. Because now you are representing a full house exactly. Correct me if I'm wrong but do you push this river with a bare 8? Im certainly not pushing it with a decent K and not sure I like a push here with KJ either.

Am I the only 1 who prefers a bet of about 14-1500 here? Either way, its a tough river to continue on I think.

Preflop is kinda marginal imo. It also seems ur line is repping a very narrow range of hands too

he would def push an 8 thats a no brainer, but what hands is he CC preflop that have an 8 in them and then take this line, 88 is the only hand. I feel like hero is repping 88, JJ, AQhh and thats it, it could still get villain to fold, I just think it is very marginal

The problem is preflop, having called a raise from UTG+1 in UTG+2, original raiser can basically discredit any chance of you having 8. You're not calling a raise pre here with any hand containing an 8 other than 88.

Secondly, its v unlikely you smooth called in such early pos with KK. JJ is more plausible. KJ v unlikely.

My point being, on this turn, there are basically only 2 hands you are representing. AK and JJ. So when it comes to the river and you push, although Ak is still in your range here, your range has basically been reduced to one hand, JJ (dont get me wrong, there is certainly still value in AK push here I feel).

If Kenny Rap is any good Im sure he calls you down pretty light here.

Agreed, villains play is a bit illogical with most hands and the hand range he is representing is a bit too narrow.

I would almost never call on the turn and check fold the river here.

The turn raise is all kinds of terrible once you get to the river its a good shove.
