Default turn decision w/ 2 overs and a gut shot

Another hand from my sweating session.

Villian is unknown at this point.

Poker Stars
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $2/$4
4 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4.5SB, 2 players)

i bet because u win against all drawing hands, river then check or fold. against a raise ... well u have to call :/

This is the kind of board texture where you will get check-raised a lot.

For me, betting here is player dependent. Against LAPs and certain TAGs I would be more inclined to bet; and against LAGs, I usually check.

These inbetween hands can be tricky.

Against an unknown, I would bet and check behind on the river.

I dont think you get c/r'ed that much. Id bet/call because of all the draws that you're ahead of+you have pretty close to 10 outs when he raises. If I did check, its with the intention of calling most rivers.

Sooo many draws that will call.

Going for the value check is best when villains range is full of hands that will fold turn but bluff river.

In this hand he wont have that many folding hands. The flop is not that peeling friendly with two medium high cards and the turn brought another flush draw.


I would bet again and check river UI. Call a turn raise obviously
