I think the options are all kind of close but folding certainly should be considered. Personally I would probably fold this but I play nice and snuggly at 3/6 if I ever play it [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Why is everybody so against check/calling? Obv villian's range is wide, but everything we're beating is mucking for our river bet or raising and putting us in a really [censored] spot if the player is thinking as described. Let him fire off one more with 99 hoping you're going to muck AJ/AT cause the Q can't be a good card for you if you're checking the river.

I think you're going to induce more bluffs by checking than getting paid off by KQ/AJ/AT type hands because those may even fire river. You're getting popped with a wide range also though so it makes me hate the bet/fold line - esp for metagame. You don't want people popping you on the river in big pots every time you donk knowing that you're gonna be mucking > whatever small percentage of the time the river raise bluff needs to be successful.

I'd check hoping I somehow just sucked out, but realizing I'm probably toast. But if he bet, I'd c/r. How can he call with anything but AK or 99? It's a good play for me, because a lot of people would curse betting their set into a weak/tightie and throw it away face up.

I call everything I bet the river with (cept bluffs) becasue it doesnt make sense to me that OP could c/r a straight here. I will admit though I am more often then not shown the straight in that situation, which leaves me thinking how bad a play that was. But oh wait.....

I bet the river, he called and I somehow won. I do not think that bet/folding is correct in this spot. I think I misplayed my hand both preflop and on the river.
