Boise St. 49-0 at halftime vs Weber St. They have a mini Reggie Bush as backup RB. God he's quick. Good warm up for road game vs Washington next week. OOOOH, I can't wait!

Ian Johnson for Heisman! Best RB in country! Cross between E. Dickerson and M. Allen.

My thoughts on tonight's actions are limited to the ESPN broadcast. I think Craig James and Doug Flutie are a poor replacement for Coach Corso and Herby. I don't mind Flutie, but I really dislike James. I think he is terrible. Corso could be irritating, but I like his spirit.

Speaking of Corso, I love the new ESPN college football promo spot with the whole crew in the gym. Very funny.

Yeah, is this permanent? If so, who's Herbstreit working with now? Fowler/Herbstreit as a 2-man team was my absolute favorite announcing crew ever, and if they're not doing any games together this year, I'm going to be a sad panda. Ideally, I'd find out that James and Flutie were just demoted and that Fowler and Herbstreit are going to be doing the ABC showcase game on Saturdays now, but somehow I don't see that happening.

FTR, I didn't dislike the James/Flutie/Fowler crew at all, I thought they did a pretty good job and would still probably one of the Top 3 or 4 announcing teams on the air this year. Just that I really enjoy listening to Fowler and Herbstreit together.

I thought James/Flutie/Fowler was great.

The ESPN2 guys, Dave whatever and Rod Gilmore was tained because either that Dave dude has the worst voice ever or his mic got raped. I seriously thought he was calling the game over the phone under I heard Gilmore.

Miss St was sad to watch.

Bernard from OSU looked v. good.

James is an idiot. His comments that LSU should play conservative when they had first and 10 inside the MSU 40 with 1:00 left in the half because they didn't want MSU to get a turnover and score were absurd.

Fowler is good at everything IMO - I wish they'd expand his role during the day. It seems like the "B team" of Reese/May/Holtz gets more air-time and they're all awful.

Go Cuse 2night!

How can you not like Reece? Even I like him and he went to Bama. I like May as well. Nobody likes Holtz.

Well, Fowler's good as an on-air personality, but I think he's definitely better as a play-by-play guy. He gets really into the action and he knows just when to interrupt the color guys and focus on what's happening on the field. I think at the very least, they need to find a Saturday game for him to announce along with ESPN's Thursday night game.
