This is exactly what I thought when watching. Characters are almost identical. If only Cromwell would bring in his Boston accent...

The problem is the characters are no longer that interesting.
Once you kill off all the quality actors and their characters...the rehashed plots and melodrama becomes more and more noticable.

Palmer is gone
Nina Meyers is gone
Tony Almeida is gone
The kick ass secret service guy is gone
etc etc

All thats left is Chloe and Jack...and Jack doing the whole "I'm not sure if I should be hardcore ass kicking Jack or kind of emotional I think I'm gonna need a moment Jack" isn't fun.


Oh well
