Sharks let the Wings tie it up in regulation.
If this were a basketball game they might as well not play OT and give the game to Detroit, but hockey is so weird/unpredictable...the Sharks could come back & win or conceivably blow this game and still take the series. I won't be up to see it of course.

I'm heading out the Ducks-Nucks game tonight. A 6PM start is retarded for SoCal. We can't even get to the game by 7. The place is going to be a ghost town. I'll be there on time though because I'm taking off work really early today.

tv wins out ldo

though why the rangers-sabres aren't on today is a mystery - probably tv related as well.

also every [censored] national sporting event starts late because of the west coast. i don't have a job now so i don't care, but when i do, i will continue to get upset that monday night football starts too late.

I was at both Sens-Devils games this week. The Sens completely outplayed the Devils in both games. Brodeur is the only thing that kept the games close. In both games, the Devils have seemed completely disinterested. They aren't fighting for pucks along the board, they aren't forechecking, and they're letting the Sens get to every loose puck in the corners. They're playing like they've given up.

the devils don't forecheck very often. they also don't get to many loose pucks. Elias is still ill, unfortunately - without him we've been in trouble. The Senators are a better team though, so what you saw should be expected. The sad part is, Ray Emery's been awful and yet the Devils can't seem to get enough pressure on him.

I wish they'd start the damn game already. NBC draws an insane share in Buffalo for Sunday afternoon. Not that it really matters; the ratings are still terrible on a national level.

I die a death tonight with my Canucks. Luongo made 57 saves on 58 shots before losing in double overtime. What [censored] more do you want?
