Default 1020 - sb 35bbmisclicks against my BB

5 handed party.

Villian is decent player. He has attacked my bb every round if folded to him. Folded to him in sb who opens to 700 - im 90% certain it is not a fake. I push with 97o.

lol just fold. Assuming 100bb stacks he's now getting 2:1 on a call after you push so even if he did mis-click he'll be getting pot odds to call anyway, add in the times he actually has something for whatever reason and there's simply no point at all.

If he's not scared money or a moron he's probably calling any pair, most aces, and maybe KQ, KJ. This works out to well over 15% of his possible hands (if its any ace its over 22%, cut out the worst unsuited ones and it drops to more like 18). If his range is literally any two cards your shove is profitable by a good bit. If he's only opening his small blind with about 60% of his hands but its definitely a misclick your play is close to breakeven. If he's opening a more reasonable range and/or theres a better than random chance of him having a very strong hand here you're burning money.

Too much has to go right for this to show a profit. I can imagine being in a situation where I thought this type of shove was profitable but from your description of the spot I think I would want at minimum ax or some pretty good suited cards to consider making a play. I would definitely ship with any pair.
