Re: High wrappy hand
Perfect. I expect him to have a hand like a pair and a good straight draw a lot here, and for him to fold to your turn bet.

Re: High wrappy hand
I would be much more confident playing this board as aggressively as you did if I had flopped a pair with the wrap draw.. As played, your turn bet is obviously pretty standard but I actually doubt that your FE is that great; thenizz is from my small amount of experience with him, not willing to lay down draws once he is already partially invested.

Kinda surprised taht everyone thinks it's good. |

Re: High wrappy hand
It's good from the POV that you should have a lot of fold equity here. Your lack of pair does hurt a lot but you always have plenty of outs when called.

Re: High wrappy hand
[ QUOTE ]
Me and villain have been playing a fair bit together, and getting it in kinda light. [/ QUOTE ] This is really close, and it depends a lot on the specific tendencies of villain, but the above quite would make me lean toward checking behind. I think you get called by something like KQT9 quite a bit. What really matters is how often villain will bet/call the flop, check/call the turn with two pair. With the information given, I can't argue with calling the flop for the draw, raising and checking the turn, or raising and betting the turn. Any one could be correct depending on how loose or aggressive villain is. |
