Yes, vaporizing is a better choice than smoking, but if you're hooked (yes, many people do become addicted) man up and get yourself some help. http://www.ma-online.org/

Life is much better when you can enjoy things again without having to get high first.

Weed doesn't affect memory per se. It can have an affect on short term memory, but it has never been proven (actually it has been disproven) that weed affects long term memory at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

Disproven? I don't think so. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to scientifically disprove something like this?

I've written plenty of papers on the effects of marijuana on the brain, including memory. There are plenty of legit sources that show no long term effects on memory or the brain.

One that sticks out is they got a bunch of monkeys and put gas masks on them to make them smoke the equivalent of over 100 bong loads a day for a year. They then killed them and studied their brains as compared to the control group w/ no conclusive evidence of damage to the memory part of the brain.

If you know how THC reacts w/ the brain (via canibinoid receptors) you'll realize that though it does have an effect on short term memory while high (via slight blocking) it has no effect on long term memory.

My guestion is does the vaporizer eliminate the odor? Do you still smell like you just smoked after using it? I'm very interested in the small one and would like to know.

Thanks.

A vaporizer is the best way to 'smoke' weed in terms of health, but using a vaporizer is a pita to use all the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

That is true...unless you've met Senor VaporGenie

I have one of these and hate it.

[/ QUOTE ]
What do you hate about it? My friends and I are poor (soon to be) college students...we don't have $100+ each that we can put towards a vaporizer.

use a glass wand, not quite pure vapo, but 100x better than a BIC

The smell is less, but still there. It's a little lighter stench of just weed and not so much smoke. But it doesn't linger as long either.
