FT is up for me, but half the folks at every table are sitting out, likely disconnected. Probably a big Internet routing failure somewhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

if some people are on and the rest of us are sitting out, the tourneys are void right?

What about pots in cash games when this started?

If it's their servers, it's a misdeal (i.e. it never happened)

If it's your connection, you lose.

If it's a widespread problem, but not 100%... IDK... email support or something. Actually, nm, I just LOL'd at myself for that idea.

There are major routers down all over North America. This is why so many people are having problems getting into multiple sites.

yeah, I'm trying to rationalize the fact that FT is down for the night, I'll get my buy-ins back, and I can move on with a full fridge of beer and snacks to play some late night Warcraft!

GEEK!

This would be some [censored] if they don't either give me my chips back from what I had on the break or void this tournament.

WTF with that stupid site? All the zeros show up as zeros for the last 24 hours so it's not like it just happened. Everything else on my internet seems fine. And the whole point of the interweb is to find alternate paths.

Maybe the tubes are clogged?

could we establish exactly what their strategy is for tourney disconnects based on past experience? and could anyone that is on FT right now clarify that tourneys are still being played?
