Played against him a couple times, knew some guys who played with him, seen him play a couple more times. His tools are simply dirty, best I've ever seen in a single package,by far,and I've seen some good ones.

Update. He went 2 for 5 with another 2B tonight. His overall line coming into the night was ;

The K's are a little troubling, 7 in 26 PA at AA (26.92%), although they were 19.3% in A ball.

He'll be 20 on August 25 and I still think he'll be in the bigs by then.

4-10, 1 2B, 2 HR, 6 BB for a nice .400/.625/1.100, not too far from his .343/.468/.636 line in the minors thus far (24:13 BB:K). The Astros did right in keeping Pence up, what were the Royals thinking?

Upton's overall line is .344/.427/.635. 11 2b, 12 HR, 12 sb in 212 pa.

He's having some problems with the strike zone at AA with a 4/19 BB/K ratio (6%/28%), but has a line of .349/.414/.825 wotj 5 2b, 2 3b, 7 hr and 3 sb in 67 pa.
