Cash gamer testing the mtt waters
Hi, I'm a small stakes cash game player but lately I've been getting more and more interested in MTT's. Getting deep in a MTT is such a great feeling and I think I want to play more of them than I do. I'm looking for anyone who is up for chatting about strategy and whatever on AIM. My sn is mfzb3.

Read the anthology in the MTT strat forum. There is a ton of great information in there. Then read, and or post questionable hands. GL

[/ QUOTE ] The anthology has a ton of great posts that will really help you to get started in MTTs and will answer a lot of basic and not so basic questions you'll probably have at one point or another. Also read the FAQ, while your obviously not completly new to the boards it will help clear up what goes in MTT and MTTc. Welcome to MTT(c)!

Thanks for the welcome. I have read the FAQ and I'm about to delve into the anthology. Also, is there an IRC channel for the MTTer's? I chat on the ssnl channel frequently.

[/ QUOTE ] I obviously don't remember every thread there, but I don't think the anthology covers a lot of basic stuff. Having said that, OP should have some of the basics down if he's already a cash gamer. HoH is obviously good as well.
