so I go home to see my family for the first time in prob 4 months. I'm in the middle of a -$10k downswing.. sweet. I'm not home for even 20 mins and here it comes "so bill hows poker treating you?" fkkkkk.. "ehh not too good lately but things will turn around b/c most ppl are retarded and play bad".. and here it comes "i duno how you do it, you should just get a real job and make teh secure monies" etc etc.

i blow this off b/c its obv nonsense theres no sense arguing.

then we procede to get my taxes done, my mom comes along, and while im sitting there talking to this guy and he asks me what i do for a living etc etc my mother blurts out "haha does being addicted to gambooooling count as a job?" WTFFF!!

Yeah nothing makes me feel better than getting home at like 10am when I lose 5k+ after a painful 15+ hour session of poo flinging than having my dad ask me "HEY DID YOU WIN ENOUGH FOR ME TO RETIRE HURHURURURURUR NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I ASK THE SAME STUPID QUESTION I'LL STILL LAUGH AT MY OWN JOKE" when all I want to do is crawl into bed and waking up at 6pm to go out and play again. I really don't know if my dad is retarded or what, because I know that he knows $5000 is a lot of money, and I don't see what's so funny about gambling and winning/losing that much pretty regularly. I guess I must have some kind of magical invisible clown outfit that only he can see when I get home from the casino that makes everything so amusing to him. I don't ask my dad how much he makes at his job, then again I also don't [censored] care because it's none of my business. I should just say I lost like 10k every time, especially since that seems to fit pretty well with my most recent sessions anyway.

Yeah the only beat for live poker for me is that I'm a moron so instead of staying in a hotel over the weekend and playing I take the train home and stay there and my parents are insanely annoying/nosey and never [censored] leave me alone. I think that's how I ended up going to a school I didn't even want to go to that wasn't near home.

The fact my parents are constantly walking in and out of my room when I'm awake and asleep combined with the fact that I generally just leave piles of money on top of my TV when I get back from playing because I'm too tired to count it and put it somewhere probably invites even more stupid questions than I would be subject to otherwise.

Am I going to buy into a game with $5 bills? I'd spend the whole [censored] night counting out the bills to buy my chips.
