I would imagine, this would get things about as cheap as possible, while knocking out any bluffers with overcards. I'm also bad at bet-folding, that's definately something I need to work on. WTF not betting the turn. If he had a J he'd have raised you on the flop and maybe even PF. Anyway, bet the turn then check-call the river. Dont know what to do if you get raised on the turn bet. Maybe call then bet/fold river UI? Anyone?

Its also conceivable that a J would lead at the flop if he's going to call UTGs raise with it. If it is a weak J then a turn bet might take the pot right there. [/ QUOTE ] There are far more ways for him to call on the turn than there are for him to call on the river or to bet the river. Therefore, if you're going to put in exactly one bet (as you should with this hand), then it should go in on the turn with you betting it. However, the frequency of that is much much smaller than the effective odds you get with calling down. In this case, you would be getting 10:2, which means he needs to be bluff check-raising at least 17% of the time. It probably only happens 5-10% of the time.

He could call from the CO with any of those and put a river bluff/semibluff out thinking you missed everything after checking the turn.
