"hrm" spot vs aejones hu

this match has been fairly quiet, he has 5bet shoved once where i folded after 4betting. he hasnt really been bluffing much (that i have seen) and he has checked the flop a few times. i have overbet some, but this is the first time i have overbet in this spot. he raised within 10 seconds, i took about 5seconds to bet the river. i took about 5 seconds on turn and he instachecked flop.

i dont think he ever has a flush, so that leaves A6, A4, 44, QQ. i dont think he plays 66 like this ever.

edit: he won a $1k stack when he flopped a set vs my 2 overs and fd in a rr pot and held.

why r u so sure that he doesn't have the flush .. cos he didnt bet the flop ? maybe with that flop he didnt want to be CR'd ..

Yer not sure abwt this no flush, flop and turn i can also see pure air as part of his range, with river plans maybe? but iv only played a small amount vs him so not sure, air normally = nuts so A6?

I'm sure jones is aware of this, so it seems a simple call/fold for him with his bluff catcher, doesn't make much sense for him to raise. So for that reason i fold.

I would fold, he's not raising for value. Your hand looks like an ace.
Does he expect you to lay down an ace ?
If yes you should be calling some of the time, since his raise is quite big I think he has it, flush or boat.
I think he would raise a made boat on turn so I lean towards flush or QQ.

Don't think he calls that turnbet with a draw. So he either has a bluffcatcher or a monster. Don't think he turns a bluffcatcher into a bluff here. I would let it go.
