Villain is 33/18/2

My thought process here is he almost certainly doesn't have a 10 and so the only other pairs that beat me are AA-JJ and this villain almost certainly would have 3b those pairs pre-flop. Also, this guy might have been tilting a bit because he had his pocket Aces beaten a few hands earlier by a calling station who rivered him.

As such, is pushing here a good idea? I can see him calling with 99,88,77 and I'm pretty confident I've got him beat.

a 33/18 definately 3bets JJ+, so basically he has a pair below 99 or a T (obv far more unlikely). I just shove here, he's calling with pairs we beat all day and it prevents cards coming from killing our action

No one ever raises flop with quads. JJ+ seems unlikely with the action. Value shove, he can't fold a full house and could be dumb enough to call with AJ or something (I saw it the other day at 25nl).

Pretty much already been covered, but I wanted to point out that a shove is better than a call because you don't want a scare card to peel killing your action.

I very much doubt he has a T, and most of the time you'll have him beat so I like a shove.

Nice to know I made the correct decision for once and at least a little thought went into my hand

No way. Hero calls quickly. Raise or bet any river for value IMO.

Shoving will probably make him fold a smaller pair, and since we are not folding, we might as well extract the maximum while ahead.
