flop he bets full pot. i thought this might have been a reasonable fold, but called anyway to see how it would play out

i almost donk lead the turn. but decided against

river i'm checking to call, cos i didint want to bet and get raised since i had no plan, but probably fold to exactly a PSB and call all smaller river bets.

like this thought process? i'm still really not sure if i liek it myself yet

Flop looks fine. Why would you want to fold a set on the flop?
I would bet the turn. If he is afraid of the ace, you are not getting any value anyway.
River is a check/call. Villain is not calling with anything you beat.

Why would you ever want to c/f this flop wtf? You're behind like never. I still would just call though and I would probably check the turn like you did. As played I would check the river and make a decision if he bets. Betting the river is pointless, counterfieted pairs and air can't call and you're getting raised by Ax of course, and we just want to show our hand down at this point but we're happy to let villain bluff and there is no reasonable hand range he can have that would make betting the river a reasonable play.

Seriously though, folding the flop is retarded. Call and fold to a big turn bet perhaps, but an unknowns range for potting this flop is weighted towards marginal hands and air than monsters.

he bet full pot 4-way?

i guess i can never fold this flop vs a generic donk, but then im pretty sure a good player never limps pf UTG here unless he's like on some 47th level which i cant ever grasp

I think you played this fine. Open potting isn't a line that many would take on this flop with a strong K, though obv you're behind any king. I'd generally assume this was a PP or 77. Hard to see how you can be behind on the river, unless the guy has AK and is a super tricky wazzhead but also can't see how he can call so check.

I can see a PP .. but why would villain make a PSB with a flopped FH in a 4-way pot? He has basically crippled the board and is hoping for someone to have a King.

Honestly, I saw nothing wrong or questionable about how this hand was played, it all looks super standard to me.
