Default RIP Luciano Pavarotti

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Musi...ead/index.html

Very sad to hear about this - I heard on my classical radio station (NY TIMES station) this morning that he was in serious condition. He was a true master and his voice would make me choke up at times. I'm very sad that I never got to see him in concert.

His "signature" song,

This is a huge loss. It would be like Tiger Woods dying or any currently living figure that is the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) at their profession. Woods being the biggest superstar ever in golf, Pavarotti being the biggest superstar ever in opera.

I like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRr1mw-VHq4
because it was in the Seinfeld episode "The Opera."

Could not believe the news...

Definately was hit harder than i would have expected.
I saw him once when I was in 5th grade and still remember it, and I am not into opera at all.

The man was amazing!

Yeah, I love him on Vesti La Giubba. Man, he puts out so much sound. Awesome. I have a version of this on mp3 that I actually like better than this video though.
