You are getting 2.5-1. Are you really over 70% sure you are beat here?

I'd call all day.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd say we're beat here 80-90% of the time.

In his shoes, can you bring yourself to just call with AQ? Do you think an average unknown in this tournament can? Really? Given that call/call increases the likelihood of an A vs a set, and the aces full possibilities are relatively unlikely (we're not looking at AJxTA), I think you call. You're not good 50%, but you're good often enough.

call this river you can be chopping or he has any other ace and is like OMG trips I raise, even though that doesn't change anything really from the board from prior streets.

ps uninformed guess since i'm not there and haven't played an ept, but i'm guessing the shark:fish ratio is a lot lower among europeans than americans in these. Europeans live closer to, umm, Europe.

ucla, against a player playing optimally it's still probably a call. Against some random who very likely is doing this with AJ it's a snapcall or a shove for value.

evg,
AK is a pretty important difference between 22 and AQ.

AK is way way different here because there are twice as many combos of other aces when we have 22.
