Default 2008 Seahawks

Last year was kind of a disappointment with injuries hampering the season. If they get home field advantage they are a huge threat in the playoffs. With the window of opportunity closing on the Seahawks what do you predict out of them for 08?

The 49ers should be very dangerous this year in the west, Seattle may have already missed their window.

What has Seattle done to improve their mediocre (at best) 2007 squad?

I mean, they basically stunk last year, they got saved by being in one of the most pathetic divisions of all time. Arizona and San Fran should be a lot better this year.

Don't expect playoffs.

their o should be much better, but imo their d can't cut it. they are always good at home and the combo of alexander, holmgren, and hasslebeck may be enough to win that division but they won't be going back to the super bowl.

Win the division(kinda weak). Maybe make it to the 2nd round of playoffs.

But really, it's tough to say as there are many unknown variables. Thank god they ditched D-Jack and Stephens. And Hamlin, for that matter.

Transitional year. If O-Line gels, look out.

tarheel,

Why should their offense be much better? I think Alexander has already reached his peak as a running back. But their O-Line is so so and their WR corp is not great either especially in comparison to some of the other talent in the rest of their division.

This thread is rofl because clearly nobody posting in it has paid any attention to their off season nor knows the team really well.

Defense will be much better. Revamped secondary is a huge improvement, young LBs get better, d-line will be vastly improved if Tubbs is healthy.

Offensive line has better players in better spots, and should have a healthy Shaun and Matt. Branch will have had time to work with Matt, Leonard Weaver being back will give us great 3rd down/short yardage flexibility.

Aren't we in the year 2007? Are we talking about next year's Seahawks?
